Book One: How It All Began - The story starts 155 million years ago, when Ibiza was a barren rock rising from the sea. Over centuries, the island was invaded by many civilisations, each leaving their Gods, myths and marks behind. Empires rose and fell. Pirates ravaged the coast. Smugglers emerged. Plagues descended. Poverty rose. Survival became a way of life. Something had to change. So a few entrepreneurial locals imagined a different future. Tourism was born. The island shifted to a new rhythm.
